Women's Health & Wellness Fair

The Annual Women's Health and Wellness Fair is an opportunity for MU students, faculty and staff to learn about issues related to women's health and wellness outside of a clinical setting. We concentrate on the whole individual: physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually; with exhibitors from the campus and the community. Representatives share information about exercise and fitness, women's support organizations, cancer prevention and treatment, healthcare, nutrition, public health, recreation, and much more. The event is free and open to all members of the MU community.

The purpose of the fair is to provide women at MU with campus and community resources for enhancing their health and well-being.  It is our goal to provide women at MU with the best knowledge and resources available each year. While this event does have a limited capacity of approximately 35 vendors, we seek to provide a diverse array of differing opinions and to give equitable opportunity for relevant organizations to participate. Vendors are selected for participation by the committee and invited on a first-come, first-served basis each year. In order to qualify for consideration, organizations must be MU campus or local entities and must advocate for women’s health, promotion, and/or well-being. Furthermore, all participating organizations must engage in civil conduct. Only those organizations meeting these criteria will be considered for participation in the fair, and all invitations will be sent at the discretion of the Status of Women Committee.

The fair is hosted by the MU Chancellor's Committee on the Status of Women and sponsored by the Chancellor's Diversity Initiative. If you would like your organization to be considered for the next fair, or if you have any questions or comments, please contact  Jordan Hoyt.
